| 1932年 （昭和7年） | 吉田 富加（現社長の父）が広島市天満町に缶詰及び製缶業を創業。 Tomika Yoshida (father of the present CEO) in Tenmacho, Hiroshima, established canned food and can manufacturing company. |
| 1945年 （昭和20年） | 企業合同により海軍監督工場に認定され軍需品製造。 By mutual agreement plant was authorized as Naval supervision plant proving army demand goods. |
| 1946年 （昭和21年） | 再び缶詰及び製缶業を始める。 Resumes manufacturing canned food and can. |
| 1949年 （昭和24年） | 広島市中広町に光工業株式会社を設立し、代表取締役社長に就任。資本金150万円。 In Nakahiro, Hiroshima, Hikari Industry Co., LTd. established.Fumika Yoshida becomes CEO. Capital 1.5 million yen. |
| 1961年 （昭和36年） | 大和製罐株式会社と取引を始める。 Starts business with Daiwa Can Company Co., Ltd. |
| 1965年 （昭和40年） | 業務拡張により広島市祇園町に移転。 Due to business expansion, the headquarter is moved to Gion, Hiroshima. |
| 1973年 （昭和48年） | 資本金を800万円に増資。 Capital increased to 8 million Yen. |
| 1977年 （昭和52年） | 代表取締役に吉田 冨美男就任。 Fumio Yoshida becomes CEO. |
| 1979年 （昭和54年） | 自動溶接機導入（50缶/ 分） Automatic welding machine installed (50 cans/min). |
| 1982年 （昭和57年） | 自動溶接ライン導入（450缶/ 分）。資本金1,400万円に増資。創業50年を迎える。 Automatic welding line installed (450 cans/min). |
| 1985年 （昭和60年） | 資本金2,000万円に増資。 Capital increased to 20 million Yen. |
| 1991年 （平成3年） | 東広島市志和町に本社、工場を建設し移転。自動製缶ライン（600缶/ 分）、自動製蓋ライン（600缶/ 分）を増設。 The current plant was completed and headquarter is moved to Shiwa, Higashi Hiroshima city. Automatic can manufacturing line installed (600 cans/min) Automatic end manufacturing line installed (600 ends/min) |
| 2007年 （平成19年） | かん詰、びん詰め食品製造業許可取得。救食シリーズ®の食品事業部開始。CANヌードル発売。ISO9001/2000取得。 Series of food for emergency is developed, production starts. |
| 2011年 （平成23年） | 無菌おしぼり発売、ＡＥ缶高速ライン導入（350缶/ 分）。 Automatic aerosol can manufacturing line installed (350 cans/min) |
| 2012年 （平成24年） | 創業80年を迎える。 The 80th anniversary. |
| 2017年7月 （平成29年） | 四国営業所開設 |
| 2020年6月 | 代表取締役社長に吉田龍一が就任 |
